What is tranexamic acid and how does it work?

Tranexamic Acid is a state-of-the-art ingredient that acts on keratinocytes on the surface of the skin. It has an interesting depigmenting action because it inhibits the release of factors that stimulate the production of melanin. But what makes it really distinct from all the other acids used to date for dark spots treatment is its complementary action to depigmentation!

Tranexamic Acid has the ability to also inhibit the triggering factors of the inflammatory and vascular process. In other words, it is an ingredient that offers high efficacy by acting on the inflammatory component of the skin, characteristic of resistant hyperpigmentations.

For whom is tranexamic acid  indicated?

Melan Tran3x is indicated for people who have age spots (lentigines or liver spots) and freckles (or epheids). As well as for HPI (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) skin, a very common situation in acne lesions and after surgical interventions. Tranexamic acid is also used to treat body pigmentation in areas of friction such as underarms or groin.

If up to the moment the depigmenting treatments had limitations on the phototype of skin, with the tranexamic acid the phototype is no longer an issue. So it is possible to safely treat high average phototypes without the risk of post-treatment hyperpigmentation. Even this acid can be used to prevent post-inflammatory pigmentation often associated with laser spot treatments.

Due to the high safety and tolerance of this acid, the Melan Tran3x line can be used to control the production of melanin and enhance the results obtained with other anti-dar spots treatments.

Tran3x a professional and home treatment solution

It is the professional solution with tranexamic acid. It allows treating dark spots in a medical or aesthetic cabinet with this new acid. This protocol includes a depigmenting chemical peel whose formula accelerates skin renewal. This eliminates the accumulation of melanin on the surface. Unlike traditional peeling treatments in which redness and cutaneous discomfort are a guarantee. With this new acid, the tolerance of the skin is extraordinary.

The cabinet protocol also complements the application of a transcutaneous solution – c.prof 210 depigmentation solution. This solution is applied to the skin through microneedling. Although it sounds painful, it’s actually quite a comfortable procedure. It provides the great advantage of penetrating the depigmenting agents in depth. Thus, if on the one hand, we eliminate the dark spots on the surface, on the other hand, we minimize their production in depth.

It is the home treatment. Contains two products to be used simultaneously: the intensive depigmenting serum and gel-cream. If on the one hand, the serum acts on the dark spots by eliminating the melanin formed and regulating the overproduction of pigment at the origin. In summary
