Tangle teezer

Tangle Teezer is a brand created by Shaun P. – a hairdresser with a brilliant mind and an audacious spirit who in 2003 developed a hair accessory capable of detangling hair while giving it a smooth, shiny effect.

With a somewhat interesting timeline, Tangle teezer has, over the years, proven to the more conventional that standing out for difference can be positive. And, even, successful.

Having started as a talented and courageous hairdresser in 2003, after 30 years spent working as a top colorist, that Shaun had a moment when he felt the need for a quick and easy hairbrush capable of detangling hair without tugging and pulling.

From the idea to the product was a few years of hard work and research that culminated in going on the Dragons’ Den show. Despite being turned down Shaun P. gained thousands of followers, which in 2007 allowed him to launch The Original detangling hairbrush.

In the following years, an entire new hairbrush category – detangling – was created and combined with innovative technologies and designs.

Today, Tangle Teezer is the best-selling hairbrush in Britain and a favorite worldwide.
