Melanin is a natural pigment that gives color to the skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences, and aging can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation manifests itself as dark areas and age spots (also known as sun-induced spots) that are an uneven appearance to the skin. To combat this, Eucerin created the Stick Spot Corrector.

This product is primarily composed of Thiamidol which is an effective ingredient, patented by the brand. It acts at the root of hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin production. Having been developed over ten years, this highly effective active compound is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their reappearance.

Thiamidol acts at the root of hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanin production in the skin, which leads to fading of existing dark spots and reduces the formation of new dark spots. The first results are visible after two weeks and continue to improve with regular use.

How to use Eucerin anti-pigment stick spot corrector?

First, start by cleansing your skin very thoroughly with your favorite Eucerin cleansing lotion. Choose from:

• Eucerin Dermatoclean cleansing gel (for normal to combination skin) or
• Eucerin Dermatoclean emulsion (for dry skin)

Next, apply a toner, such as the Eucerin dermatoclean gentle toner, to prepare the skin for the application of skincare products.

After the toner, apply the anti-pigment dual serum. Apply once a day (morning or evening) to thoroughly cleansed face, neck and décolleté
Press the center of the top of the dispenser to ensure you release the same amount of both serums. When you first use the product, you may need to press three or four times before the serum appears. Massage gently to penetrate the skin, avoiding contact with the eyes.

Now, apply the anti-pigment spot corrector.  Use it once a day (morning or evening) on thoroughly cleansed skin. Apply sparingly and directly to dark spots, avoiding contact with the eyes.

Follow this with moisturizing with the Eucerin anti-pigment day cream spf 30 in the morning, and the Eucerin anti-pigment night cream at bedtime.
